Peace Across (More) Worlds

Not long after Xerxan began stretching he could hear that he wasn't the only one up as the baby was also awake. This is where usually Carl or Veldaris would be on it but for some reason they couldn't hear the baby's cries, meaning Xerxan is the closest one to deal with it if he chose.

Lina did escape at one point, which was around when Lina would have originally woken up but it was just a quick trip to the bathroom before coming back. Veronica was still asleep and Lina felt back asleep for a little while longer. When she got up a second time she figured she better get up this time, even though being with Veronica in the bed was pretty relaxing. She lightly rubs Veronica's hair to get to her stop pouting. Lina then hears Veronica comment on the water so she goes to take a look. She makes sure the water is on and goes to check how it feels when she feels Veronica pulling her in. She still had her sleepwear on and feels herself getting wet. She gasps as she is pulled in before looking at her with a mixed look. "You little shit." She was going to say 'sneak' instead but the other word slipped out, but she finished with a smirk on her face. She could feel her sleepwear pressing against her skin and lets Veronica make the first follow up move.

When he heard the baby crying he would go over to see what he could do to calm the baby being he was too scared to attempt to handle something so delicate. When he didn't see Carl or Veldaris hurrying in he will try to sing one of those nursery songs as a way to attempt to calm the baby down till the parents finally realize the baby is awake.

After pulling Lina in with a mischievious smirk on her face she will lean in to start kiss along her next nipping at her sensitive spots intending to have fun getting clean while making Lina squirm. Veronica wont feel ashamed as she soaks Lina's sleepwear while teasingly grinding her leg between hers while grinding slowly along her leg.

It didn't look like Carl nor Veldaris would be getting up any time soon. While Xerxan did have a good singing voice it didn't seem to work stop the baby's cries, though it did knock the volume down a tad. If his nose was working he could tell the baby could use some changing, that and it's unintentionally gesturing that it's hungry, which it is.

He would change his song a bit moving closer to the baby monitor and mixes in that a possible loaded diaper along with something he isn't catching on is required for the baby. He just hopes that his song gets their attention because he is completely at a lose for what to do with changing the diaper or noticing the signs that the child is hungry as he keeps the song pleasant to entertain the baby, but still sending the cues to try and wake up Carl or Vel to rescue him from his inexperience with children.

For some reason Veldaris and Carl still weren't waking up, even though the baby's cries became a bit louder after being low for a bit.  If Xerxan looked around he would see what was needed to take care of the baby's diaper problem and instructions on how to do it.  What was needed to actually clean the baby's butt did have pictures on it for the directions.

Food wise there was some also near by that Vel didn't put away yet in the kitchen.  While it wouldn't be enough to satisfy the baby's hunger it would be enough to calm it until the parents took over.  With both Veldaris and Carl were still asleep if this kept going on for a couple of more minutes it would be possible that they would hear what was going on. Hopefully Xerxan could take care of the current problem for now. Carl stirred a little bit but was not woken up, at least not yet.

He would spot the open pamphlets about how to change diaphers his eyes going wide as his eyes fell first onto the picture of the worst possible mess a baby could make in diaper. He would notice the section upon feeding and quickly moves to the kitchen finding the premade bottle then runs back to the babies room to check the temperature then looks around trying not make a mess as looks for something to warm the bottle up in making some noise in the process. He would be too focused on trying to finding a pot to warm the bottle up in that he wouldn't here any of them approaching.

As he did his thing Carl and Veldaris continued to sleep, though when Carl stirred some more and woke up, which Vel did as well the baby was getting the attention it wanted, getting cleaned and fed. Veldaris decided to check on the kid and when she goes to where they the action is she sees Xerxan trying to dispose of the evidence of the 'mess' that Valarie made. She checked on the kid, who was now calm. "Did you take care of that all by yourself?" she asks him after checking things over both in the room and kitchen. "You must be pretty good with babies." Vel decides to spend some time with the kid until Carl drags his butt out of bed too, which wouldn't be for a few more minutes.

When he joins them he asks Xerxan how things are, not knowing what he just dealt with.

Xerxan finally managed to warm up the bottle seeing as the parents weren't up he gulped as he went to change Valarie's diaper and cleans her bottom then while trying to figure out how to get the diaper positioned right he puts it on backwards causing her to giggle at him. It would take him a few tries to position her just right to feed her from the bottle which he carefully set her down then went to dispose of the dirty diaper trying to hold back his gags when Vel spots him before he notices her standing there then when she startles him making him almost drop the dirty diaper giving her a clear view of the mess. He will say " I struggled with it which I think was amusing to her. I am sorry about the mess making note of some of the mess he made in the kitchen trying to find the pot to warm the bottle up in I only was able to do what I did thanks to the pamphlets that were left in the babies room. When Carl asks Xerxan will say " your daughter left you a present" as he leads him over to show him the dirty diaper. He would hear her wake up in need of being burped as he starts to clean up the mess he made as he finishes with " Valarie woke up when I got up in need of a meal and her diapher changed.

Carl knew what was meant by 'present' and tries not to look, telling him to dispose of it. Veldaris doesn't seem to bothered with the mess Xerxan made, it didn't look too bad. Carl tells him that he'll be heading off in a bit so if he wants a lift he should get ready.

Vel tells him Xerxan with how things went from what she could see she might ask him to babysit sometime.


Lina grins as Veronica does her think. She hopes Veronica would help her out of the wet clothes as she was really getting in the mood, but even if she wasn't it be weird showing with them on. Lina would playfully warn her if she keeps this up then Veronica's efforts to get cleaned up will be wasted. Nothing was wrong with two women in love showering together and helping each other clean up, though Veronica was making Lina pretty horny and Lina was getting closer to demanding satisfaction, but Veronica still had some room before those buttons were pressed.

Xerxan will say " I never really though I would be any good taking care of the needs of the baby which I think she found my efforts amusing as he heads over to wash up and change to a fresh flight suit. He will then meet up with Carl for a ride back, but says to Vel "I will study up in flight so I will be better prepared to watch the baby so you both can go out and enjoy a relaxing night together." When Carl is ready to leave he will contact the AI which appears in the house and makes a few silly faces to cause a fit of giggles from the baby before departing to prep the ship to take off immediately as soon as he arrives onboard.

Veronica smirks at Lina's grin and helps her slide her night shirt up, but grins as she tries to entangle Lina's hands so she can keep pushing her buttons closer to the unleash the sexual beast that in Lina. She will ask " what is this odd little compartment as she taps on Lina's own bathroom toybox ready to get really dirty with her then wash each other clean."
