Final Confrontation

Shizuka nodded in answer to Selene, but stayed focused on Matt. Business could be mixed with pleasure, but business would still prevail at the end.

Matt watched Selene all the way to the stairwell roof, still wary that his cunning foe might try something. Once he was sure however that she wouldn't be taking part, Matt lookd towards Shizuka again. He flexed his fingers in anticipation as he was no doubt in for a tough fight. With a deep breath to get himself ready, Matt smiled at the girl before him. "This is gonna be fun," he chuckled. "Selene," he called to the watching lady. "Would you mind ringing the bell?" he asked innocently.

"A bell?" Selene chuckled, "How delightfully droll." She made a show of standing up and posing dramatically. "Very well then. Shizuka," she faced the Devil Violet sternly, "Earn a place in this asshole's nightmares. Now, on my signal," she bellowed, "Unleash hell!"

With that, she swiftly knelt down, scooping up a bucket of ice water and hurling its contents at Matt. Grinning wickedly, she cackled a few seconds before shouting, "Commence!"

Matt nodded slowly, never taking his eyes off of Shizuka. From what he had heard this girl wasn't afraid to play dirty. "Alright then," he grinned. "Let's get this - HOLY HELL, SO COLD!!!" Again Matt was drenched with freezing cold water head to toe. "Son of a bitch!!"

Shizuka knew she had brought a second bucket of water for a reason. Now Matt was distracted as she charged forward. But instead of going for a typical spear, she'd use the newly-wet floor to suddenly baseball slide towards Matt for a sliding kick to his right knee!

So focused was Matt on his drenched state he totally missed Shizuka coming at him. Her unconventional attack caught him off guard, and with a yelp his lef was kicked out, sending him towards the floor. He barely had enough time to throw his hands out to cusion the fall before he fell on his face. Matt would immediately roll away to safety afterwards.

Shizuka sped him off with a kick before sitting up. Her legs folded beneath her and then straightened as she stood up and stalked after Matt with a sweet smile on her face. "Get up." If he hadn't gotten up yet, she'd kick at the same leg she'd hit, adding more injury to injury.

Matt had gotten to his hands and knees by the time Shizuka approached him, and he gave a smile of anticipation. When the kick came he would manage to grab her leg and and stop it from hitting him. With a grin he would then rank on that leg to bring her down to the hard floor.

Seeing Matt was on all fours made Shizuka warier than she was wont to be when stomping people. She still got caught- she couldn't resist the temptation to grind her heel upon Matt's knee- but as she fell, she agilely kicked at Matt's head with her other foot. If she was going to be tripped up, a regular occurrence in her experience, she might as well make him pay for it.

"Guh!" Matt grunted, Shizuka's foot nailing him right in the side of the head. It rattled hima bit but it was nothing he couldn't handle. He could only hope the girl's fall stunned her more than it did him. Shaking his head abit after the blow Matt would try to step over Shizuka's grabbed leg and put her into a painful figure four leglock.
