The Thief in the Night

Freyr's line of work required him to be both nimble and quick-witted so he could react fast when the situation called for it. So when Cherise's leg sweep came he leapt into the air to avoid it. As soon as he came down to the floor again he would try to grab at her arm, turn away from her and perform a judo-like flip to send her crashing to the floor.

Reaching for his hand as she came up, she was tring to reverse the move, remembering how to from her training before coming to Sex Wars. But she wasn't fast enough, ending up hitting the floor hard, which knocked the wind out of her and left her staring at the ceiling.

Freyr was moving to end this quickly. He wasn't used to a long drawn out fight, usually ending his encounters quickly and without much of a struggle. Still holding onto the arm he had used to send Cherise to the ground, Freyr would quickly place her in a armbar, wanting to wear her down so she wouldn't be able to stop him later on.

Kicking her feet in pain, Cherise would cry out as he stretched her arm in the hold. She'd try reaching over with her other hand, but couldn't come close to reaching far enough to pry his hold off of her arm. "Let go...darn you let go." Her chest was heaving from the exertion, and her face turned red when she realized how exposed she was yet again.

Freyr continued to work Cherise's arm, wanting to make it numb and useless at this point. "You know, Cherise, I'm not a bad guy," he said to her despite the situation. "I'm just a man who excells in a certain line of work. And I'm not exactly greedy. It's all part of the adventure. The excitement, the thrill! Surely you've experienced something like that?" He would release her then, standing back up and walking to over to her head.

When he finally released her, she'd roll onto her side, cradling her arm as she lay there, groaning in pain. "But...its wrong...and illegal..." She didn't care why he did it. Stealing was stealing to her. "And...I..I'm going to stop you."

Freyr smiled again, but this one was of admiration. She certainly stuck true to her beleifs, and a strong sense of justice to boot. But she was in over her head and she would have to realize it sooner or later. "Better people than you have tried," he said, moving to the other side of her. "What makes you think you can?" He would grab her other arm then, and place her in yet another arm bar, working on the second arm now.

By now Cherise was whimpering as her other arm was tormented, kicking her feet in pain as she started slapping the floor with her other hand. "S..stop...let go...Y..Your not supposed to win.."

"This isn't a comic book, signora," Freyr calmly said as he put her other arm through pain as well. "The heroes don't always win in real life. And didn't I tell you that I wasn't the bad guy?" He would keep this armbar longer than the last, making sure it would be useless as well before he would release it too, getting back up once he did. "Now are you going to let me do my work?"

Cherise would curl up, rolling onto her side once her other arm was released. Even though she could barely move her arms, she tried her best to cover herself up. "I...won't ever forgive you. If your not a bad guy...then why lie? Why steal for selfish reasons? Bad guys do those things. So I know your not a good guy..."
