Whether he knew it or not, Edward’s fanboying was quite appreciated by Valley. She tried to hide it, tried to deny it, but growing old had a way of leaving doubts in the head, made her wonder if she still had the spark to hang with the younger crowd. After losing to Manami and dropping the Entropy Title, there was a small fear that she just didn’t have what it took to handle the younger crowd anymore. She was coming up on her forties, not too far off, and the shelf life for a female wrestler tended to drop right around that time. So, being told that she still had it was a nice little ego boost that went further than he could’ve possibly guessed.

Plus, it gave her a lot of extra time to recover, and boy, did she need it. You never realize how much your own moves can hurt until someone actually does them on you.

Edward moved her up, getting her up on two wobbly feet, as she struggled to keep things together. Before she could think about getting away, he moved up, caught her in the lock, and proceed to drag her down, looking to seal her up with a deadly cutter.

It would’ve worked, too. That was a great finishing move, fast and powerful. There was a reason so many wrestlers adopted. Hard to counter...but not impossible. As it turned out, Valley had been working on just such a counter with her girlfriend.

Instead of going down with him all the way, the Slamazon planted her hands on the floor and kicked her legs up high, creating a solid base. The result? He pulled away and wound up falling flat on his back, leaving him open and vulnerable as she stood above him. It put her in the perfect position for a lot of things, and the moment he sat up, she’d already decided what to go with.

She leaped forward, wrapped her legs around his head, and pulled his neck into a figure-four headlock as she fell to her back, capturing him with one of her rarer signatures: the Valley Lock.

Something was off. Edward could tell. He'd hit that cutter plenty of times on the indy scene, it was one of his go-to moves then. He knew what it felt like, to drive somebody head and face first into the mat...and this...felt different. There was still an impact, but it didn't sound as heavy as when he normally hit the move.

He sat up immediately after hitting the mat, about to turn over...when a pair of legs snapped into place around his neck, pulling him down onto his back! "Wha!?" he yelled, completely taken off guard. The next thing he knew, the womans lovely thigh, soft and smooth, was pressed tight against his neck, the back of his head was against her waist, and his legs were kicking tightly as she started squeezing hard around his head, making him gasp as she started to choke him.

This was...The Valley Lock!? He was trapped in the Valley Lock! For a brief moment, Ed's surprise and feeling of being choked was overtaken by sheer fanboy enthusiasm, actually being trapped in his idols most famous finishing hold...until she squeezed again, and he let out another gasp, flailing his arms about desperately, the ropes too far away.

"V..Valley...can't...can't breathe...."

Being more of an aerial striker, Valley didn’t have too many occasions to break this move out, but she made sure to keep it in her pocket at all times. In her opinion, the figure-four headlock was one of the most underrated submissions in wrestling - easy to lock in, effective, and if you did it right, nearly impossible for your opponent to escape outside of reaching the ropes. That being said, she wasn’t the biggest fan of using it on someone like Edward, not takinb much joy in choking the poor man out. But then, she wouldn’t take much joy in losing, either.

She grabbed her ankle as the realization set in and the struggling started in earnest, doing her best to ride this bucking bronco down. If she’d tried this earlier, when he had far more energy to spare, he might’ve been able to shake free, but the fatigue was taking a toll on him. This little fish could squirm on the hook all he wanted, but in the end, he was going down.

It was just a matter of how he wanted that to happen. She would rather not choke him out all the way, so she was banking on a tap.

”That’s the general idea behind a chokehold, Ed.” She gave her thighs a flex, making him ‘can’t breath’ even more. ”Do me a favor and tap out, okay?”

If he didn’t, she’d have to resort to Plan B - and considering she wasn’t sure what Plan B was yet, she was direly trying to avoid that.

Ed really was stuck in two worlds at the moment. One one hand, his wrestling idol had him in her signature submission hold, the fanboy in him loving it...and admittedly, the horny teenage in him loving having those soft thighs around his head, , the back of his head rubbing against her crotch with his struggles, thighs brushing against his cheek, making his cheeks flush, blood pumping through his body as she squeezed and...please don't let him have a...damnit.

There, almost as if it was there to mock him, would be a bulge in his tights, stiffer than before. Wonderful.

As if that wasn't embarrassing enough, there was the other hand...the fact that she had him trapped good and tight, dead center in the middle of the ring. He was too far away from the ropes, his short body unable to close the distance, and her thighs to tightly squeezed against his throat for him to get his head free, he was forced to admit the truth...

There was no escape from this hold.

He had flashbacks, to his match on the beach with Dash, where he was trapped in a different, highly painful, inescapable submission hold. He had tapped out then, and while Dash had earned the win, Edward still hated tapping out, feeling like failure for giving up.

That hold had been a choice between tapping out or risking injury, while this choice was between tapping out, or being choked unconscious, and neither thought seemed good to young Edward. "C-Can't...can't tap..." he stammered, even as Valley squeezed again, that lovely thigh cutting deep into his neck, his air way completely blocked and his body getting more sluggish and slow, black spots starting to fill his vision as he grew closer and closer to blacking out.

Finally, realizing how futile it was, he raised his hand, and began tapping out against Valley's thigh, tapped fingers trailing against it with each tap. "S-submit...please...I give up..."

Valley knew what was going through Edward’s mind right now. At least, she could make a reasonable inference, based on the look in his eyes. She’d been young once. Had her rookie days. While she doubted this was the first time he’d been in a hold he couldn’t get out of, it was never easy for the younger wrestles to accept things like this. You want to be a diehard. You want to go down fighting. Losing is one thing, but tapping was admitting defeat.

It brought the Slamazon back to Bubbles Burste and the ragdolling she’d been given, the heavy loss she’d suffered that day. The match had been over halfway through, really, but she kept refusing to give up, even when it was clear to literally everyone else that she had about as much chance of winning as a mouse had of beating a cat.

She had a long, light sigh when Edward kept thrashing, hoping the man could see some sense. ”I’m pretty sure you can can tap, Ed. This isn’t a straightjacket hold or anything, your arms are free.” She gave him a quick flex, emphasizing the point. ”It happens to everyone, no shame here.”

She wasn’t sure if he heard her or not, it was hard to tell ow much of his ears her legs were blocking, but either way, he gave up and started tapping, signaling the bell to ring. The moment she heard it, Valley opened her legs and released him, letting his head fall between her legs.

Looking down on him, she gave him a quick pat on the cheek. ”You okay?”

Luckily for Edward, Valley wasn't the type to be vindictive or cruel, and once the bell rang, she released him from her legs, allowing him to breath again. The scottish teen gasped loudly, turning his head and resting it on Valley's thigh, taking gulps of air and panting against her soft skin while her music started to play.

He had lost. Again. That was...4 losses in a row now? Sure he had that win over Naomi...but given she had fallen asleep in their match while he pinned her, that wasn't exactly a big feather in his cap. He had given it his best effort, and just got outmatched by a more experienced and better wrestler, there was no shame in that...though he couldn't help but feel disappointed in himself.

He felt her hand on his cheek as she checked on him, and he realized his position, moving his head off her thigh and looking up at the attractive older woman with his emerald eyes. His self disappointment would be rather evident in his eyes, but to his credit, he tried to keep it out of his voice. "I'm uh...I'm good. That match...was awesome. You absolutely still got it..." he said, raising a taped hand and giving her a thumbs up and a small toothy grin. "Been seeing you apply that hold for years, never thought I'd be lucky enough to get caught in myself..."

Valley wasn’t quick to move after the bell rang, laying on her back and taking in some hard breathfuls. That had taken more out of her than she would’ve expected - Edward had been a game opponent, to say the least, and she couldn’t just chalk it up to his youth and being a man. There were even a few good moments when the match teetered in his favor, and if they met again, maybe in a year or two…

There was potential, here. Real potential. Where would it go?

She grabbed the ropes, she used them for support as she stood, dusted herself off, and gave the customary wave to the appreciative fans. Her focus was mostly for Edward, though, appreciating his words. He’d given her props before in this match, but it was nice to see him keep it up after losing. Good sport.

”You’re top notch, too, give yourself some credit.” She offered her hand to help him get up. ”You, ah...you don’t have to be off quick, do you? We could chat some in the back, if you like.”

Did she just say he was top notch? EEE!

Too exhausted to be elated at the compliment, the teen blonde took the older blondes hand, getting up to his feet on rubbery legs and rubbing his neck where her amazing thighs had crushed the air out of him. Curiously, he cocked his head to the side at her question, wincing as the movement caused a flare up in his neck. Valley Doll wanted to chat...with him?

"Okay Ed, play it cool, don't seem like an idiot." he thought, before speaking again as the referee came and began raising Valley's arm for the audience, who were unable to hear the two talking over her entrance music playing.

"Uh, no, no I don't have anywhere I gotta be. I'd love to chat with you. Just...uh...just lemme get a shower in first, get this sweat off of me, then I'll meet you in the locker room alright? Con-congrats again on the win..."

He blushed as he said that last part, having to remember that he had just tapped out for the second time in his AFW career...not a great feeling, despite who it was or how fun the match had been.

With Valley's arm raised and the crowd focusing their attention on her, Edward would flash her a thumbs up and leave the ring, rolling under the ropes and limping his way to the back while holding his sore neck, looking forward to a hot shower and a cool ice pack...and now interesting conversation with his idol to boot.
